A small sample of the patient’s blood is drawn from the arm into a tube. The blood is then centrifuged to easily separate the desired PRP from the whole blood. Approximately 10 minutes later, the PRP is ready for injection. Once on site, the growth factors and other regenerative molecules are released leading to collagen and elastin formation as well as cellular growth and skin remodeling, resulting in long-lasting skin rejuvenation.

Dermal filler is a foreign material designed to give volume and fill up lines in a specific area. PRP is self-sourced, biological process which naturally helps your skin to repair itself by improving skin complexion and restoring its natural glow.

The sensations vary between each person and treatment. Since PRP is autologous (self-sourced), adverse reactions are rare. You may experience slight redness, swelling, mild bruising and pain. Those reactions usually pass in a day or two.

Contradictions include pregnancy, breast feeding, autoimmune or blood pathologies and cancer. Furthermore, consistent use of NSAID drugs within 48 hours of Cellenis PRP application should be avoided. For more information, please consult your physician.

Clinical evidence has shown that combining PRP with other rejuvenation techniques, such as fillers, mesotherapy, laser treatments and more actually induces a synergistic beneficial effect.
